The Trans Agenda

Happy Friday! 🌈 and welcome to...
The Trans Agenda.  🤫

 ::Secret handshake 🤝🙌::

The category isssssssss DEE EYE WHY??? This week’s featured video is a bit of a tearjerker for me. Watching a baby trans with a supportive mother, who genuinely wants to show her daughter all the secrets of womanhood is beautiful. The truth is, I could sit in a thousand therapy sessions talking about all the things I wish I could have experienced in my youth. One of them is how to handle my hair.

Good lord. If I could show you all the hair blunders, the outfit fails, the nip slips, and swimsuit disasters of my trans experience: I WOULDN’T.

Instead, I choose to acknowledge that I had to learn a lot of it on my own. Sure there were YouTube tutorials and such. But It’s not the same as having someone who can be there physically with you. Especially when they have the same hair and skin texture. Instead, I had to DIY. But DI-why?

If I could go back in time, I would have just found some other trans femmes who were looking to learn some new skills and hired a trans friendly stylist to teach us. Easy! Or at least begged somebody’s aunt to show us how she gets her curls to look like that. I didn’t have to do it alone. Even when I was living in the deepest, darkest part of the reddest regions in the world. There were other girls like me looking for friends sisterhood.

So, why DIY when you can DIWO: Do It With Others. Or, DIWNFWYMOOIRL: Do It With New Friends Who You Met Online Or In Real Life.

The Trans Agenda is DOING IT WITH OTHERS
